misc resources and fun things that have yet to be sorted into anything larger.

  • The Magazine Rack, on Internet Archive. Happy digging!! Truly never ends. I personally love trawling thru the fashion mags, but you'll never run out of new things to stumble on.
  • How to Be Poor in America, a collection of resources regarding exactly what it says on the tin. Housing info, disability, and more.
  • Marxists Internet Archive. Feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start? Here's their encyclopedia! Remember: No one hones their Theory Chops overnight! You can do this!!!
  • Archive of Destruction, an archive of contemporary-leaning art pieces that have been destroyed and vandalized, both unintentionally and intentionally, whether by individuals, governmental and institutional powers, or forces of nature. a wonderful and thought-provoking art piece all its own by Jes Fernie.
  • Lavender Zines Queer Archive, a wonderful and labor-intensive archival project of primarily late-midcentury to late-20thc queer magazines. Raunchy, candid, and often challenging to contemporary sensibilities. None of it will shock you if you trawl through old mags like I do-- but it might take some patience if you don't! Do it anyway, if you can. All of this is worthy of preservation.
  • The Al Bowlly Fansite Mp3 Player. More of his songs than I've found on youtube, or anywhere else! My only male teenage heartthrob, born a century too early. Rest easy buddy.
