he has a wonderful wife and two wonderful cats. he's passionate about jazz, the arts, social history, and people. all other interests, which are varied and many, have a tendency to weave in and out of these fields as their anchors.

he lives with hEDS, MCAS, and POTS, alongside a rich and colorful tapestry of "uh oh"s in spinal deformity. he has developed a passion for disability justice and education through necessity.

because he is usually sick and often tired, he is not always able to meet correspondence halfway. he still appreciates any goodwill or insight that peers and loved ones have to give.
